Privacy Policy

The short version. Bayagrid has no analytics, no telemetry and no tracking of any kind. The app never reports what you do with it. We store your email address (because you gave it to us when you bought a licence) and a one-way hash that identifies your Mac — nothing else.

Who we are

Bayagrid is a trading name of Yuno Supplies Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 12060708). Yuno Supplies Ltd is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR. Contact: pay@yunosupplies.com.

Sales to customers in mainland China are operated by Hunan Kuke Yide E-Commerce Co., Ltd. (湖南酷客意德电子商务有限公司), which is the personal information handler for those customers under Chinese law (PIPL). Data for mainland-China customers is stored and processed entirely within mainland China and is not transferred out of the country; the two regions' data are kept separate. What the app collects

Nothing, until you activate a paid licence. The free tier of Bayagrid works entirely offline. It contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, and no update pinger. If you never buy Plus, the app never contacts our servers at all.

What we store when you buy and activate

Data	Why	Kept for
Email address	To send you your activation link, and to let you re-request it if you lose it.	While your licence is active, plus 7 years for tax/accounting records as required by law.
Device fingerprint (salted SHA-256 hash)	To count how many Macs your licence is used on (limit: 3) and to bind your licence to your machines so it can't be copied.	Until you remove the device or your licence ends.
Computer name (e.g. "MacBook Pro")	So that when you swap devices, you can tell which machine is which.	Same as above.
Order record (amount, currency, payment channel, timestamp)	Proof of purchase, accounting, and to know what you're entitled to.	7 years (statutory accounting retention).

About the device fingerprint. Your Mac has a hardware identifier (IOPlatformUUID). We never send it anywhere. The app salts it and runs it through SHA-256 — a one-way function — and only that hash leaves your machine. We cannot reverse it back into your hardware ID, and it can't be matched against any other service's data.

What we do not do

No analytics, telemetry, usage statistics or session recording — of any kind.
No advertising, no ad IDs, no marketing profiles.
We never see what windows you open, what apps you run, or what you type. The app uses macOS Accessibility permission to move windows locally; that information never leaves your Mac.
We never sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Payments

We never see or store your card number. Payments are processed by:

Stripe (via Stripe's Managed Payments / Lemon Squeezy) for customers outside mainland China. Stripe acts as merchant of record and is an independent controller of your payment data. See Stripe's privacy policy.
WeChat Pay and Alipay for customers in mainland China, under their respective privacy policies.

The payment provider passes us your email address, the amount paid and an order reference. That's all we receive.

Email delivery

Activation emails are sent through a transactional email provider acting as our processor. They handle your email address solely to deliver our message and do not use it for anything else.

Where your data lives

Licence and order records are stored on servers we control. Data for customers outside mainland China is processed under UK GDPR; data for customers in mainland China is stored on servers located in mainland China as required by Chinese law.

Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR (and equivalent rights under Chinese PIPL) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Email pay@yunosupplies.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Note: if you ask us to delete your licence records, your activation stops working, because those records are your licence. We may also need to keep order records to meet statutory accounting obligations even after deletion of everything else.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only thing we store in your browser is your language preference (English or Chinese), kept locally so we don't ask again. Payment pages hosted by Stripe, WeChat Pay or Alipay have their own cookie practices.

Children

Bayagrid is a professional utility and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email active licence holders. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
